QR Share is a personal data sharing utility that generates and scans QR codes. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
QR Share does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information you enter — name, phone number, address, and any custom fields — is stored exclusively on your device and never leaves it.
Data stored by the app is encrypted on-device using AES-256-GCM encryption. Android system backups are disabled, meaning your data is never uploaded to Google's backup servers.
- Camera — used solely to scan QR codes presented by other users. No images or video are recorded or stored.
The app uses your device's built-in biometric authentication (fingerprint or face unlock) to restrict access. Biometric data is processed entirely by your device's operating system and is never accessed or stored by the app.
The app contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party SDKs that collect data.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
